Spey ace: The spey master
Spey lines have ripped away the curtain that shooting heads imposed on them in past years. Now they are as well known and used as shooting heads. The ace type tapering improves easy lift off and turnover, because most of the headweight is in the mid and rear end of the head. With the long coloured rear taper it is easy to adjust the point where you cast your line. It also gives you an opportunity to use the same line with different rod lengths without having the feeling that the line is too long or short. Just pick your favourite point to cast the line.
